Kilton Auction a Huge Success

The Kilton Farms Inc. auction was a huge success and tallied over 4000 acres once the ground was surveyed. The auction lasted about 6 1/2 hours and there were approximately 250 registered bidders and 800 people in attendance. A majority of the farm was sold to local farmers, many of whom had been farming the ground already. At the end of the day the auction totaled over $24 million and was sold to 11 different bidders, one of which was a collaborate effort of around 15 area farmers.
